Re: Spoilers for Thursday 17th July 2008
Carol did seem to go round the houses a bit in explaining Rick's "trick". Was it really necessary for her to explain that 1758 is 2008 - 250, and so when you add 1758 to 250 what you're doing is 250 + 2008 - 250, so the 250s cancel, leaving 2008? Surely simply adding 250 and 1758 to give 2...

Regrettably I'll be away (again!) for the weekend, and will certainly miss Friday's game, and most likely Sunday's games too.
So, best of luck to all six competitors, and thanks Jono for organising a most enjoyable competition.
I look forward to reading the reports when I get home on Monday.

C1: 663.8X(100-25)+50+8+5 (7)
C2: 660.
CV: 667. (100+25)x5=625+50-8=667 (7)
Score: 26–26 (max 35)

In my view, first and second places have to go to the Corbys, but I can't judge which order they'll come in.
In any case, I think that the picture of young Jon has to be shown on TV when he appears in the next COC.

The clue was "Washed thoroughly, and put off Durade".
