Round 11: M E R S I C O V N

Luke: INCOMERS (8)
Callum: COINERS (7)
OT: SERMONIC (8)
Score: 77–58 (max 99)

Another fantastic eight from our third seed Luke with Incomers that allows him to extend his lead further ...and with 19 points being the difference can Callum get himself back into the contest.......he would need to max quite a few rounds

Luke: LINEMEN (7)
Callum: monkie
DC: LINKMEN (7)
OT: LIMONENE (8)
Score: 84–58 (max 107)

A good round for our 3rd seed Luke with his 7 Linemen sad to say for Callum and with Susie disallowing his word he would need to pull something out of the hat and get himself back into this quarter final contest.............with DC getting a 7 with Linkmen....however there was an interesting 8 missed by all with Limonene

Image

Limonene :A colourless liquid hydrocarbon with a lemon-like scent, present in lemon oil, orange oil, and similar essential oils.

Round 13: P S T A E P A O L

Luke: PALPATES (8)
Callum: PALPATES (8)

Round 15: N I G E L N S A M

No one buzzes. The answer was SIGNALMEN.
Final Score: 102–76 (max 135)

Neither quarter finalist buzzes in.........but it is left to a certain Rachel Riley to solve the elusive conudrum firstly congratulations to our third seed Luke Selway he now advances into Thursday's semi-final where he will take on the second seed Charlie Harrison who won his quarter-final on Friday, secondly commiserations to our 6th seed Callum Ridley who can be proud of how far he has come being a quarter finalist is a really achievement in it's self.........you can join me for next recap and the last of our quarter finals........in the meantime it is bye for now
