C1: 313.
C2: 310. (100 × 75 + 50) ÷ 25 + 8 (7)
RR: 311. (50 + 7) × (100 ÷ 25) + 75 + 8 (10)
Score: 7–32 (max 35)
A very useful 7 points for our challenger Hazel..........but Ms Riley gets to shine and showcase her number talents that would of scored you 10 points

Alan: cottle
Hazel: TOILET (6)
DC: OCELOT (6) COOTIE (6)

Round 5: T S T A U A E N L
Alan: TALENTS (7)
Hazel: SULTANATE (18)
Score: 7–56 (max 60)
Another 9 for Ms Drury she means business and could be on for a big score

C1: 393.
C2: 394. (9 − 7) × 4 × 50 − (9 − 3) (10)

A perfect 10 for our challenger Hazel sadly Alan doesn't get close with his one way declaration

Round 7: P R W A I O I N O
Alan: PRAWN (5)
Hazel: PIANO (5)
OT: PRONAOI (7)
Score: 12–71 (max 77)
What a stinky round this is but our champion and challenger do well to get a five out of this horrid selection of letters........but there was interesting 7 hidden away with Pronaoi

Round 8: H G E I P O L M K
Alan: PHLEGM (6)
Hazel: PHLEGM (6)
DC: HOGLIKE (7)
Score: 18–77 (max 84)
This round is not so pleasant neither both our champion and challenger bag themselves 6 points with a rather unpleasant 6 Phlegm........over in DC they get to shine with their 7 Hoglike

Round 11: R A M E C U A Y N
Alan: CREAMY (6)
Hazel: NUMERACY (8)
Score: 28–103 (max 110)

Round 12: R F E I A S G R O
Alan: FORAGES (7)
Hazel: farries
DC: FORAGERS (8)
Score: 35–103 (max 118)
A very unlucky risk from our champion Hazel but the damage is minor at this point as Alan scores with his 7.........but DC get to steal the show their 8 Foragers

Round 13: V S P S A E I E D
Alan: advised
Hazel: PASSIVE (7)
OT: ADVISEES (8)
Score: 35–110 (max 126)
Sevens all round but not for Alan his word Advised is valid but there isn't another D available in this letter selection...........however it is Darren central yet again with an 8 missed by all with Advisees
Round 14: 25, 10, 3, 2, 6, 3. Target: 947.
C1: 947. (10 × 3 + 6 + 2) × 25 − 3 (10)
C2: 947. (10 × 3 + 6 + 2) × 25 − 3 (10)
Score: 45–120 (max 136)
Not too shabby this number solve........as our champion and challenger have no trouble solving this bad boy

Round 15: M O U T H E A S E
C2 buzzes on 2.5 seconds to say HOUSEMATE which is correct.
Final Score: 45–130 (max 146)
What a way to wrap up your first win on your second Countdown appearance with an amazing 130 points I have a postive feeling that we could be seeing a lot more of Hazel over the coming days and a possible for contender for the highest scoring female of all time and series 94 champion but let's wait and see how she goes on...............secondly take nothing away from our outgoing champion Alan coming up against Hazel is no easy task but sadly that is luck of the draw unfortunately he will be satisfied with his three wins and the teapot.......you can join me for the next recap and to see if Hazel can get her second win........in the meantime it is bye for now !
