How has not one spoiler thread for the whole of May been started already?

It seems that the idea that the 4th may be with you was too well-known to merit a mention at the beginning. But how was the talk about female sitcom characters relevant to the day?

Now to the point ... Susie managed to missee CREPITOUS. I checked it (actually, I was checking whether OUTPRICES is a word), but got that CREPITOUS isn't a word, though CREPITUS is. This isn't just a case of the subtitler taking a wild guess at the spelling and getting it wrong - when Colin then said "back-to-back nines" Susie made no comment, showing that she had misread it in the dictionary.

This isn't just a case of the subtitler taking a wild guess at the spelling and getting it wrong - when Colin then said "back-to-back nines" Susie made no comment, showing that she had misread it in the dictionary.

I don't think Susie misread it at all. Colin said, "*flirting* with back-to-back nines" and Susie replied "almost". She clearly intended CREPITUS. The error lay only in the subtitles misspelling it. Susie made no mistake at all.
