Tyler: RADARS (6)
Verity: ADORNS (6)
DC: AROUND (6) ARDOUR (6)
OT: AURORAS (7)
Score: 6–6 (max 7)

Sixes all round from everybody..........but rather interesting 7 missed by all Auroras.........but nothing to do with Steve " interesting " Davis some random snooker player that dominated the 1980s

Round 2: T N D E A E T S T

Tyler: SEATED (6)
Verity: ATTESTED (8)
DC: ATTESTED (8)

Round 3: 9, 3, 6, 7, 3, 8. Target: 186.

C1: 186. (3 × 8 − (7 − 3)) × 9 + 6 (10)

Verity: ASPIC (5)
DC: SPORADIC (8) PROSAIC (7)

Score: 16–19 (max 33)

Here we go again the lead swaps around yet again thnaks to Susie disallowing Tyler's invalid 7 but Verity gets to score with her 5 Aspic

Image

There were quite a few 8s to be had the one DC spotted was Sporadic and my spot was Picadors

Round 5: Y T R N E O A T O

Tyler: TREATY (6)
Verity: notater
DC: ATTORNEY (8)
Score: 22–19 (max 41)

With Tyler's 6 he takes the lead yet again after Verity has her 7 disallowed by Susie...........however Susie and company steal the show with their 8 Attorney but then again so does our recap writer

C1: -
C2: -
RR: 784. ((1 + 1) × 5 + 6) × 7 × 7 (7)
Score: 28–31 (max 71)

A truly nasty selection for this 6 small both champion and challenger blank this Rachel has said 784 is the best solution that would of scored you 7 points

Teatime teaser: COULDSHE -> SLOUCHED

Round 10: A E I L M S E M X

Tyler: EMAILS (6)
Verity: EXILES (6)
DC: MEALIES (7)

Verity: PLAGUE (6)
DC: BELUGA (6)
OT: ABUELO (6) BLAGUE (6) KAGOUL (6) PUEBLO (6)
Score: 34–43 (max 84)

Could the tiredness be creeping in for our champion Tyler as his spot is only a four letter word..........quite a few sixes to be had........one of those was spotted by our challenger Verity which allows to her to extend her lead by 9 points with everything to play for......so let's move forward then

Image

Round 12: C R T E I O S R E

Tyler: RECITES (7)
Verity: COSTER (6)
DC: COTERIES (8) ESOTERIC (8) RECTORIES (18)
Score: 41–43 (max 102)

With Tyler's 7 he reduces the arrears to 2 points in this tight but scrappy contest...........but is Darren central for DC and our recap writer as they spot the only available 9 Rectories

Image

Image

Round 13: T N D A E O S M U

Tyler: AMOUNTED (8)
Verity: AMOUNTED (8)
DC: DEMOUNTS (8) MUDSTONE (8)
OT: SEAMOUNT (8)
Score: 49–51 (max 110)

Eights all round for everybody...........is there enough for Tyler to make one final push ?

Image

Image

Round 14: 50, 75, 5, 10, 8, 3. Target: 368.

C1: 368. 5 × 75 − 10 + 3 (10)
C2: 368. 5 × 75 − 10 + 3 (10)
Score: 59–61 (max 120)

Both our champion and challenger have no problems solving this bad boy.................we have ourselves a crucial conundrum........but the question is who will buzz first ?

Image

Image

Round 15: G M O R R A H F C

C1 buzzes on 29.75 seconds to say which is incorrect.
C2 does not buzz.
The answer was FROGMARCH.
Final Score: 59–61 (max 130)

What a scrappy contest this has been in this low scoring game our champion buzzes but doesn't answer it is left to our recap writer to pick up the slack..........however we have a new champion in Verity who is the newest member of the teapot club.........now the question is will Tyler's points total be enough for a spot in the series 91 finals........you can join me for the next recap and to see if Verity can bag her second win........in the meantime it is bye for now
