So, we enter the third month, safe in the knowledge that we now have 3 octochamps crowned. Never mind that Ned got over 200 fewer points than Edward or Adam, he still got his 8 wins, so that's that.

So, 2 new challengers today, 1 of whom we had a quick glance of yesterday, as she solved yesterday's conundrum.

As Ryan is on an extended spell off here for the time being, I'll be doing today's, tomorrow's and Thursday's recaps.

I love the day after the crowning of an octochamp. You don't really have any idea of who is likely to be better, and I find that it makes for a really exciting contest. This is close so far. Is it wrong that I want to hug Nick?

OMG. That was one of the best episodes I've seen in a long time. Was gonna sit upstairs and do work like a loser, but I'm so glad I came down to watch it. Both contestants were ace. It would've been nice to have a female champ for the fisrt time since Denise Smith had her third and final victory on December 6th. Oh well.

What a superb game of Countdown! It was on the Raghd edge all the way through (couldn't resist the pun); nice comeback from Nick. A thoroughly enjoyable contest with some quality spots from both contestants. Also two very likeable personalities.
