Should've flogged it just after Whiteley died. You might've got 100 quid for it then, as I recall. Don't think you will now though.

It would be nice to have a teapot, but then if I bought one (at a more reasonable price), I wouldn't have earned it.

This is disgraceful.

Hope it arrives in 1000 pieces.

If I buy a teapot does that make me a Countdown champion? And would I have to be considered in the all-time greats thread? Otherwise, I don't see much point.

Jesus, £185!!!!!

Now thats a dilemma...
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

I thought you were pulling my leg  but someone did pay £185 for it (£192.50 if not COD). Theres only one word for that: AMAZING.

Well done Joel. I honestly didn't think anyone would pay even £100 for it

I was watching this on Ebay just out of curiosity. Excellent that it went for so much. I'm keeping mine now i know it's worth that much.

So if it were worthless you would've sold it?

Yours (and mine) are probably worth less now - they were worth more when nobody was selling them.

Its only a sale when the buyer hands over the £185.

The winning bidder has no feedback rating and is brand new to Ebay, so i'll stick my neck out and take a guess that its a time-waster looking to sabotage the auction.

Oh the positiveness of some people amazes me.
Don't twist what i say Charlie i had no intentions of selling my teapot at all. One went for the same price a few years back.
