I don't see why he wasnt allowed the points, when he thought he'd lost it, then rembered a couple of seconds later to add the 50.

I know LEISURE is a mass noun, but would Susie have allowed LEISURES?

Countmax says no. Its not like you can have more than one leisure, or different leisures, just leisure activities.
Although BLUESIER and SUBERISE were there in that round.

I suppose, but Susie might've allowed it for some reason .dinos_the_chemist wrote:Countmax says no. Its not like you can have more than one leisure, or different leisures, just leisure activities.

I'm guessing that they cut parts of the dialogue out. i.e. it was much longer than a couple of seconds.dinos_the_chemist wrote:I don't see why he wasnt allowed the points, when he thought he'd lost it, then rembered a couple of seconds later to add the 50.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Still I wanted him to win cause he was a likeable/likable personality. EMINENCE was a great spot but then he threw it away with PARISONED when there were about 10 good 8s.

EMINENCE was a cracking spot. I think he took the risk with PARISONED, because it was only the 2nd round in and there was still alot of rounds left, so he would've had plenty of chances to take back the lead.dinos_the_chemist wrote:Oh yeah. Didn't Carol basically tell him he should add the 50?dinos_the_chemist wrote:I don't see why he wasnt allowed the points, when he thought he'd lost it, then rembered a couple of seconds later to add the 50.

I don't think she did, but sometimes she does normally finish off the sums for contestants, which is annoying.Gevin-Gavin wrote:Didn't Carol basically tell him he should add the 50?dinos_the_chemist wrote:I don't see why he wasnt allowed the points, when he thought he'd lost it, then rembered a couple of seconds later to add the 50.

Yeah. It was peculiar that she didn't then realise the 10 was still there for subtraction as well.Gevin-Gavin wrote:Didn't Carol basically tell him he should add the 50?
