That's a quality pair of spots from DC, isn't it?

Very well spotted Mr Reams... and I thought the mysterious absence of any OT when there's only one to be found would be subtle enough to pass everyone by. Not so obviously. It had to be an error or omission that didn't impact the integrity of the review, that's the difficult bit.

It may be observed that sometimes the score in brackets appears after the word, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone feeling nerdy enough to work out why?

I didn't realise it was a "Spot the Ball" competition, I just saw STOMPED as soon as I looked at the selection and was surprised it wasn't in (and too lazy to check myself.)

Brackets appear after the scoring word(s) from the contestants, plus maxes from DC. I think.

Yup, that would be it. This approach in my view adds a little clarity when it is being scanned quickly. Except always adding the (x) for a disallowed word or solution... just to rub it in.. nah.. just to clearly show that it is disallowed.

No complaints thus far ...
