Another possible American TV cancellation

Post by Jason Larsen »

A little bird is also telling us that a very popular American TV show is going off the air after 24 years, and yes, this show has been shown in the UK. It is the talk show of...

Oprah Winfrey.

Of course, Oprah Winfrey is the humanitarian and actress who starred in The Color Purple with Whoopi Goldberg.

Apparently, Oprah is too busy with her humanitarian commitments to continue doing the show.

This current season kicked off with a bang, as the Black Eyed Peas performed outside the studio, unbeknownst to Oprah, and 20,000 people attended the season premiere. For those of you who don't know, the Black Eyed Peas are an R&B group from my hometown of Seattle.

Still, if an American institution like that show goes off the air, it will be a sad day for sure.

Whatever channel that showed Oprah's talk show in the UK in the past made a big mistake by dropping it. You can actually learn from it.

Oprah is one of the most peaceful and nicest people in the whole world.

Let's cross our fingers for her.

It was Channel 4. It used to be on straight after Countdown.

Wow!

Then, they dumped her for Ricki Lake?

Terrible!
