This is the same day as the zoom-based event I was planning from Vegas - know if the afterparty pub will have wifi?
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

It's also a day when Liverpool are at home, which is not good news for hotel prices.

If Liverpool weren't, Everton would be. Equally the Liverpool game could well be moved to the Sunday if Liverpool continue to progress in the Europa League or a Friday/Monday with TV rights so it's not really causing an issue rn.

A non-refundable room at a Premier Inn is £169.50 for that Saturday. It's £129 for the previous Saturday. Everton don't have the same out-of-town support as Liverpool

Plenty of options on Trivago for a much lower price than you mention, unless you were desperate to stay right in the centre of town.

I'll be honest, I read "duck" as something else. Plenty of strip clubs in town down Hanover Street way.

Feel free to ask on FB as you may get a more expeditious reply than on here. But as for hotels there should be plenty of options available on the link I already shared

Is anyone parkrunning in Liverpool?

I'm intending to do Birkenhead parkrun which is the one Eddy and I did last time. I'm staying in Birkenhead PI so happy to lend a shower if anyone fancies joining me!

Event has hit 36 but I'll leave signups open as we may be able to squeeze an extra table or two in the side.

Anyone else parkrunning?

I had planned to do Birkenhead (right by my hotel) but I am tempted by Crosby after the pitch from David Williams seeing as we have plenty of time. Does look lovely!
