Hello Countdonwers and welcome to another recap

On this day in 1991 we said goodbye to Queen frontman Freddie Mercury who tragically died at the age of 45, not only he was a huge cat lover owning many as 10, each cat having it's own bedroom at his luxury mansion in Kensington they were his babies. Every one of his cats were lavished with gifts and treats, when he was not touring or recording an album as we all know Freddie was a huge Countdown fan he loved the word part of the game but never cared much for the maths part, so here is my tribute to the late great Freddie Mercury.

Round 15: B E N D D R U L E

Bobby buzzes on 5 seconds to say BLUNDERED which is correct.
Final Score: 45–88 (max 125)

NOTE 1: In Round 4, James' declaration of TAUNT should have been disallowed as there was only one T in the selection; therefore, the final score should have been 83 – 49.
NOTE 2: James was not asked to spell his word in Round 7 and both homophones are therefore listed here. He was also not asked to spell his word in Round 12, but Dent and Rachel Riley took his declaration as RADICALS rather than RADICLES.[/b]

A great game all round from Neil will be satisfied with his 3 wins and the teapot , tune into the show tomorrow to see if Bobby can stay in the champions chair.......in the meantime it's bye for now !
