Hi guys

What is your favourite numbers selection.

Mine is 1 Large

But if I am loosing or need some points I will go 6 Small or 4 Large (prefer 6 Small)

If I'm loosing, 3 large. If I'm tighting, 1 large.

2 large can be pretty evil, despite what any computer analysis will tell you. There's often no obvious start point. It might be the easiest selection given 30 minutes, but in 30 seconds it has to be 1 large.

I am quite often thrown off by 2L, and used to miss easy 4L sums. 1L is my standard- take any other selection bar 2L as my risk strategy. Having said that, I have been prone to missing easy 1L's if ther have been more than 1 of the same number (similarly with letters!)

I selected 4 Large when playing the other day and got it by doing an amazing calculation ending up at 81300

Why do a lot of octochamps give Rachel a free choice on their last day (or pick)

Sometimes I find 2 large tricky because I don’t know which way to go. Example if I was given 50 100 5 6 7 8 468 I wouldn’t know whether to times the 50 or the 100. Although I solved it this way
8 + 6 = 14
50 - 14 = 36
100 / 5 = 20
20 - 7 = 13
36 * 13 = 468

Also their is more impossible 6 Small selections than any other because if you get no 10,9,8 or 7 and a target of 980 the best you can get by using 1 2 3 4 5 6 is 960

3 + 1 = 4
6 * 5 * 4 * 4 * 2 = 960
(off by 20)

Depends on the circumstances. I'd rarely pick 3 or 4 large.
