Spoilers For Monday September 1st 2014

So, we've entered September, and as a nice double treat, we have a full, uninterrupted week of Countdown, and the show will spend the whole week at 3:10pm, rather than 2:40pm. :)

David Stanford is still our champion, after a few near misses, although he was in complete control in his win over Joe Clarke on Friday. 4 more wins will make him an octochamp. Can he do it, I wonder :?: :?

Martin Lewis remains in DC for today and tomorrow, before Janet Street-Porter comes in from Wednesday.

round 5: (the Crewing round)- you may have to double check me on this beater but ERUCTING is OK in Collins but I believe is new to Countdown as ODO under ERICTATION lists ERUCT (derivative) as a verb....
