It's a real shame you didn't get a win Anna. I guess you'll be kicking yourself about your slow start and "not getting the last numbers" as you mentioned on the show.
Hard lines.

Just watching on 4+1. Did Jeff say "hiding away for sex" after Anna declared RAPIST?

Re: Sproilers for Tuesday 30th March 2010
OCELOTS in round 3, AIRSPEED in round 6 and KATIPOS in round 8.
1st numbers alt.: (25 x 9) - 50 + (6 x 3) = 193
2nd numbers alt.: 100 + 50 + 5 + 2 - (75 / 25) = 154 or (75 + 2) x (100 / 50) = 154 or the obvious other one.

Haha brilliant, very good Matt.Matt Morrison wrote:Just watching on 4+1. Did Jeff say "hiding away for sex" after Anna declared RAPIST?
Desperately unlucky Anna I'd written you off after the first third but you came back well, and it was there for the taking really at the end. What a shame that it'll probably haunt you.
Still, you can console yourself that Doddy would have massively got off on you declaring RAPIST.

Fair play Anna, gutted you didn't win. Can I extend membership to the TBNT society as a consolation?
Also, respect for selecting 4 large every time. That was a ballsy thing to do and I take my hat off to you

Re: Sproilers for Tuesday 30th March 2010
I was rooting for Anna due to the ME connection. The yellow sun badge on her top is that of the Assocation of Young People with ME (AYME), who really should ahve got a shout. So I've given them one. A shame about the last numbers game, I got it and felt that Dave's 324 was a beatable declaration. I wondered about SLOBBIER, thought it was unlikely actually.

Anna said that she was going to do one, but she couldn't be bothered.Martin Smith wrote:The yellow sun badge on her top is that of the Assocation of Young People with ME (AYME), who really should ahve got a shout.

Re: Sproilers for Tuesday 30th March 2010
Very unlucky, Anna.
I haven't been watching the show of late, but made an exception as you were on.
Dave was on a roll, having won 6 games already, and unfortunately you took a while to get into your stride.
As is frequentlly the case, against a different player you might have been victorious.
IMHO you should hold your head high after a great performance, especially after getting the conundrum.

Re: Sproilers for Tuesday 30th March 2010
I've just watched the recording, and Anna was desperately unlcky with "loomers". If we had a Manchester English Dictionary, it would have been in. A loomer was someone who set up the loom for the weavers to start - it was one of the simpler jobs in the mill, often a job for beginners to start out on. There would have been thousands of them in relatively recent history, it really ought to be there.
