C1: Elie Dangoor, challenger in the 'Champions' chair'. Originally from Iraq, 34, in Property Management. Hobbies include Scrabble, tennis and travelling especially the Greek Islands. Middle name is Basil - but it's not his fault.

C2: Daniel Simonis, champion in the 'Challengers' chair'." Been here three days, this is his fourth (!). 18, Doing maths at Warwick University.

Both are Scrabble players and play in tournaments having played twice already with honours even at 1-1.
