Was gonna tart up the recap a bit, but I can't actually be bothered. I think the time may be near for me to hang up my recapping shoes.
Observations from this show were:
- Martyn looked like a cool guy playing the game in a good spirit.
- Tim Vine is fucking brilliant. In addition to the jokes and that, he also seems to be interacting with the players a bit more, commenting on the game/score etc (or I'm just noticing it more). Superb.
- Ryan - STOP LOOKING SO FUCKING SHIFTY THE WHOLE TIME! Get a word in 30 seconds. Write it down. Declare it. Stop fumbling around, unsure of your declaration, then pausing over which word to offer in just about every bleeding round.

With what? Bear in mind that they'll be hanging up, so liquids would likely spill out.James Robinson wrote:If you're thinking of giving up, I'd be more than happy to fill your shoes.Jon Corby wrote:Was gonna tart up the recap a bit, but I can't actually be bothered. Yes, in fact I was just chatting with Ryan before the show started, as we were both seated. Tim patiently waited for us to finish our conversation before saying hello and having a brief chat, so the interaction isn't just because there are cameras pointing at him. I think he really genuinely enjoyed being there, and added plenty to the show at the same time. Like you say, Superb.Jon Corby wrote: Tim Vine is fucking brilliant. Mate, calm down. I was saving you the bother of having to go back into the recap and pressing "other words" by just telling you what you'd missed.Jon Corby wrote:

Could've been better phrased. Still, the offer's on the table if you wan't to bail out of recapping.Jon Corby wrote:With what? Re: Thursday 12th November 2009 (Series 61, Prelim 84)
Genuinely sometimes I dont actually spot a word in time to write it down and additionally I do doubt the words I have written down and so carefully select ones I am sure of. When I saw RESTORING I actually thought at the time it was spelt RESTOREING so when filming it was easy for me to doubt words.
Re: Thursday 12th November 2009 (Series 61, Prelim 84)
lol, it's okay Ryan. I don't hate you or anything. I don't want you to think that, mate.
