Oh yeah, I got confused thinking about who I was gonna credit ALARMED to, I forgot to press the "find others" button. Cheers Phil. Will add at a later date...

YES I KNOW.

Was gonna tart up the recap a bit, but I can't actually be bothered. I think the time may be near for me to hang up my recapping shoes.

Observations from this show were:
  • Martyn looked like a cool guy playing the game in a good spirit.
  • Tim Vine is fucking brilliant. In addition to the jokes and that, he also seems to be interacting with the players a bit more, commenting on the game/score etc (or I'm just noticing it more). Superb.
  • Ryan - STOP LOOKING SO FUCKING SHIFTY THE WHOLE TIME! Get a word in 30 seconds. Write it down. Declare it. Stop fumbling around, unsure of your declaration, then pausing over which word to offer in just about every bleeding round.

If you're thinking of giving up, I'd be more than happy to fill your shoes.

With what? Bear in mind that they'll be hanging up, so liquids would likely spill out.

I think Ryan's fumblings add to the excitement.

Yes, in fact I was just chatting with Ryan before the show started, as we were both seated. Tim patiently waited for us to finish our conversation before saying hello and having a brief chat, so the interaction isn't just because there are cameras pointing at him. I think he really genuinely enjoyed being there, and added plenty to the show at the same time. Like you say, Superb.

Mate, calm down. I was saving you the bother of having to go back into the recap and pressing "other words" by just telling you what you'd missed.

Could've been better phrased. Still, the offer's on the table if you wan't to bail out of recapping.

Haha, sorry dude. I do feel like I'm picking on you a bit!

Genuinely sometimes I dont actually spot a word in time to write it down and additionally I do doubt the words I have written down and so carefully select ones I am sure of. When I saw RESTORING I actually thought at the time it was spelt RESTOREING so when filming it was easy for me to doubt words.

Yeah, go on then. Thursday's are all yours, if no-one else wants to fight you for them.

You're going to start Thursday's recap on Wednesday? Well, I guess you can fill in the champion's name. Cool!
