Subliminal messages on Countdown?

Post by Davy Affleck »

Recently I was trying to find some of the mistakes that James Robinson regularly spots in the studio.
While checking on Sky+ I discovered that if the opening titles are played backwards very slowly then the letters and numbers going back into the clock in a seemingly random pattern are indeed not totally random. They often actually spell out hidden messages.
So far I have uncovered several messages including "Damien woz here", "2 sugars and a digestive please" " Hello Rachel" and spookily, in a throwback to Abbey Road "Paul is dead".
Has anybody else noticed this sinister development - or is it just me?

Haha - sorry Davy. I was amused by it. I think often happens on forums. People find something funny and just walk away without posting their appreciation.
