On this day in 1986 Former Argentina Captain and the late great Diego Maradona broke English hearts by putting them out of the world cup Quarter Finals, he scored two goals for his country Argentina was one the infamous hand of god and the other was goal of the century. Argentina went on and won the tournament in 1986 for the 2nd time beating West Germany in the final , having won it previously 8 years ago in Argentina their own country which they were hosts.

So the conundrum goes unsolved for our quarter finalists......A great game all round from Cillian and Dave................firstly congratulations to Cillian for making into Semi-finals which will take place on the 28th June and where he will face the winner of Peter Burke/Greg Pearce ........the burning question is who will he play ! ............. secondly take nothing away from Dave who gave Cillian a real run for his money and can be proud of what he has achieved, he had some really good word spots sadly they weren't enough to match the prowess of Cillian , join me again for the next recap.........in the meantime it is bye for now !
