I want to tell everyone that my feelings have been mixed lately.

When I wrote my "Boot" song for Kai, he was a bit dumbfounded because in the first place I thought he didn't know what to think. Come to find out, he didn't like it and he wanted me to ask him why. I didn't want to because I didn't want to find out he got angry. Then, he talked to me days and days afterwards and I was happy.

I have been very gung-ho about playing Countdown on apterous.org lately. So much so that I have been issuing challenges ad-nauseum because, unsurprisingly, I love Countdown. I am happy when someone does play Countdown with me, though.

Most recently, I have found out that Michael Wylie has indeed passed away. I had sent Charlie a private message asking him if his death was painful. I had also asked him why Damian had left the forum, and he wouldn't tell me that either.

Also, I had recently told Lara and Kate that a few days ago, I had read that Carol was afraid she would suffer a stroke after Channel 4 said she had to take the 90% pay cut and I didn't know why I was reading about that after the fact. They didn't respond to me about that, but Lara did return my good birthday wishes, and Kate provided a link to the Tesco Christmas commercial that Des O'Connor was in. Lara is a sweetheart, and Kate is a great lady.

Finally, quite a while ago Kate sent me a private message stating that just because Charlie doesn't always reply to my private messages doesn't mean he doesn't care about me. Sometimes, people don't know what to say when I post new threads. Kate said I have a problem "developing a thick skin," meaning accepting criticism. Since then, I have improved my skills on that. I know that some of you like to joke around, but I make every effort to understand you all.

This thread might de-rail very quickly, so I'll lock it. If anyone has any comments, they can contact me privately.

Sorry I don't always get time to reply to your messages, but they do tend to be rather long and my time is rather short. I'll try to reply more promptly in future.
