Spoilers for Friday 1st April 2016
Sean Cooke has won 5 now and will probably make the finals, but today he faces his toughest test yet....
After much persuasion, James Robinson has been allowed another go on Countdown, making him the first person to have had three separate runs (four if you count his special episode), and knowing Robbo, he'll be determined to make the finals. Will he finally achieve his dream, or will Sean prevail once again???

Has the time been changed? I'm just seeing adverts, adverts, adverts right now.
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

Episode kicked off 5 mins early due to F1 coverage (as if the horses alone were bad enough)
3rd numbers: (100+75-1)*(3+(50/25))

If during the ads you ever get to the silent dancing figure 4, then stop and restart as you have lagged out.Johnny Canuck wrote:Has the time been changed? I'm just seeing adverts, adverts, adverts right now.

Alt 4th numbers (and well in the time) ((25-5)x50)-(4x7)-5 - the trick was to make the 20 the other way to John.

He scored 124 but also won a game with only 67, a range of 57 points. I wonder what the largest range is.

So was his April Fools' joke to wear a wig but not refer to it other than obliquely through what he was talking about generally?Graeme Cole wrote:Yes, today we've got Tim Vine from 1997.Johnny Canuck wrote:Has the time been changed?

RE: Susie's April Fool's Joke.
Surely a few pretend "new words" slipped in throughout the programme (complete with made up definitions) would have been far more amusing, could have had people throughout the land reaching for their dictionaries or googling to look up say SHORTLINE from the first letters selection or maybe FOAMLINES from the third.

I was taught as a child that you're only allowed to play April Fool before 12:00. But I've always wanted to know who invented that rule.
