Following on from the 'excellent' response James got from his request for a deputy recapper this week, a post which unfortunately I only saw myself tonight, I am now asking if anybody would like to do next Friday's recap (13th November). I will be in Dublin, so if nobody responds, it will be Monday 16th at the earliest before it will get done. Thanks in advance.

Alright sluts. I am retiring from recapping on 19th January (so basically I'll recap up to the last week of CoC, and someone can take over for the start of series 74). There just aren't enough GIFs to keep me going. Plus I need to actually do my journalism course and stuff.

There appears to be a problem with the recap writer, as whenever I click on the link from the 'how to write a recap' thread, it tells me access is forbidden and I do not have permission to access the recap writer. Error 403.
This may explain why no recaps have been written for the last few days.

Was thinking of potentially contributing to doing some of these recaps whilst I can- I can do the most recent shows, i.e. Phil's run, today's upcoming show or can continue on from where you are at. Would be nice to get some more recaps up, especially whilst most of us are at home

James, I see that you're doing the text versions yourself now. Now I've graduated I've got a lot of time on my hands and I'm usually able to watch live every day - is this something (for new episodes) you want me to take over, as I'm already doing the wiki versions, or are you happy with the status quo?

(I'm not sure where Charlie's at with the CDB formatting. There's no S83 page as of yet.)

I'm happy with the status quo for now, Rhys. I've currently got a week or so off, and I'm now (as you can see) rushing through all the shows as quick as possible, but please inform me of any other bits that need updating.

I normally have to give Charlie a little tap with cdb, so I'll get onto him with that, as I can't actually input any recaps on there either, as there's a problem with the date input at the moment....

As you can see, Andy Bruno very kindly gave me his Series 1 episodes back in November which I've done. Clive Freedman (now going by Louis) says he no longer has access to his episodes (sad face).

Do you guys mind if I can help recap the last nine games of Series 84? It currently looks like there's no option for Anne-Marie but given what the arithmetician option does, I think a find and replace thing might work out.

I was thinking that but then again I wasn't sure what difference there was in changing the names - like if there was more to just changing the top bit to say AMI instead of RR, so I think to play it safe I'll wait a bit.

I’m now in the interesting of being able to do the recaps that are missing, as I’ve now caught to that bit…

(Shows how far behind I still am…)

So, I can do the S84 semis (which aren’t on here yet), and early S85 which still isn’t done…

Especially, as I have no darts refereeing for a few weeks now…
