So any general feedback or questions about random variants should be addressed to Matt Bayfield? 8-)

I've listened to the podcast several times and played it backwards and I've managed to find a hidden message in it. Jono says "I'm like...I'm like the bank roll". LOOK!! "bank roll" or is it "Ban Krol"?!?!?!

It's about £4,000 for a return to Melbourne :geek:

And also, I haven't heard anything about London either. Shame - it's only 30 minutes on the London Underground :(

Maybe if you hire Concorde!

As for silly triathlons, there used to be a fencing, drinking and chess triathlon here in Edinburgh a few years ago.

Enjoyed it, especially the high quality sound compared to some podcasts of old. And thanks for the namecheck, guys... I think...

Just saw on SSN that there is a sport called Chess Boxing in case any of you hadn't seen this. Mental!

Luckily, we got the fencing out of the way first. Chess standards correlated strongly negatively with beer consumed. For fairness (health?) reasons, a limit of sixteen points from any discipline had to be introduced, but notable cases continued drinking anyway, tactical chunders notwithstanding.

So yeah, just listened to it. For the first five minutes or so I'm just thinking it's fucking crazy that there are people that will listen to this. It's fucking nuts, the whole concept of it when you step back is just mental. Not in a bad way, it just is. I loved it. I've decided it's my dream to take part.

I think my highlight was when Heather came in a bit drunk half way through whilst I was listening to it and doing the washing up and said what is this boring shit you're listening to and then about 30 seconds later, having shut up for a few seconds went hang on, is that Jono?. I liked that. The look on her face was excellent.

You should do more of these; they are relaxing to listen to and really funny.

If it helps James to relax, then I suggest you get working on another one right away.

This podcast came up in conversation today and I ended up listening to it again. Might be a nice addition to the aptodev blog or something if it's possible to do any more once in a while.
