C4C is a bit dead?
How come it's not as busy, not much happening at all?

We can talk about stuff if you like.
If Jeremy Paxman and Jeremy Kyle both lunged wildly at you with a carving knife and a homicidal intent, which one do you think you could disarm the quickest?

Stop derailing the topic.

I find the content original and interesting. This overall tone of this thread is negative, but it's controversial and engaging.

This place has been fairly dead for years. People don't debate stuff on here any more. Remember the referendum thread? Remember the religion thread? It was all good stuff. It's all spoiler threads and recaps now. Stuff about Countdown.

Well then let's debate. True or false - tall people should get paid more because they have to spend more to live normal lives, on things such as food, water bills for washing, custom made freaky clown shoes, etc.

False. They get better views of everything and, despite this, push to the front at gigs or football matches or suchlike, or at the very least make a concerted effort to stand in front of short people so they are unable to see. So they get better value for money in leisure activities. Plus they get to be massively patronising to everyone because of their height, especially people who are shorter than average, and use them as armrestsMark Deeks wrote:Well then let's debate. There should be a height regulation system at gigs. Short people at the front, tall people at the back.

Every time a spoiler is posted, an interesting discussion dies.

I was thinking that it's picked up a bit in recent times. Or maybe I've just adjusted to FORUM 2k14 stylee.
Anyway, back off the topic...

There's no evidence that they eat more. Certainly no evidence that they can eat more.Mark Deeks wrote:Well then let's debate. Well here's a topic to discuss - we're coming up to the 6000th episode of Countdown, so who would we like to see in DC this time? For the 5000th in 2010, it was Des Lynam. How about having him back again, or Jeff Stelling maybe? It'll probably be filmed in July time.
