Spoilers for Tuesday February 21st 2012 (Series 66 Prelim 32

Post by Jordan F »

In the battle of the apterites, Peter Lee came out on top yesterday with an impressive score of 101. Can he keep it up today? Anne Widdecombe, from Strictly Come Dancing, is in dictionary corner, to talk about her showing on Strictly Come Dancing, and how she's been able to live her life after Strictly Come Dancing. Oh, and did I mention that she was on Strictly Come Dancing? Good, because there's no way she will.

Reminds me of how Jenni Bond was still talking about being on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! every time she appeared in DC for several years afterward. Look on the bright side though, anything that stops Ann Widdecombe talking about politics can't be all bad, although a wad of duct tape over the mouth would do the job even better.

I guess the 2nd numbers slip up was heavily editted. Alternative method ((2 x 10) +9) x 7

Well done again, Peter. I'm sure you'll be disappointed to miss the last two numbers games but still a strong performance.

REALIGNS in round 3

2nd numbers: (50-9)x5-2 = 203

You've reminded me of the horror that was her 'joke' about heaven & St Peter, and turned out to be a Party Political Broadcast.

EDIT - inverted commas added.

Nope, not in the ODE3.

TAMALE in round 2, RESIGNAL in round 3, SINKAGE in round 6 and FOEHNS in round 12.

I'm surprised a player of Peter's calibre actually missed numbers rounds 2 and 3, they were easy(ish) spots

Well played again Peter.

I had RAILAGES in R3, ARMLOAD in R9, and (25*10+8)*(3-1) in R14
