Spoilers For Monday April 4th 2011
So, we enter another week of Countdown, and yet again, we might be crowning another octochamp by the end of the week.
The man in question is Andrew McNamara, who has 3 wins to his name at the moment, so half-octochampdom will be his with a win today.
Back in DC for his 4th stint in 12 months is comedian Dave Spikey.
The Doctor's in the house, as you get to join Rhys for the recap later.

ENVIRON in round 12 and DELUSION in round 13.
1st Numbers Alt.: ((100 - 9 - 3) x 5) - 3 = 437
Max game too. (Well, I got the conundrum before Andrew said it..... )

DEMOTIC as a DC equaller in the OMITTED round.
Dave Spikey is more like it, this week - seems like he's finding the words he declares (and he's prepared to admit when he's got a shorter one.) If he can come up with some good gags and anecdotes this week, he'll remain one of my favourite DC guests, though last time I seem to remember him doing a bit of gag recycling.

Re: Spoilers For Monday April 4th 2011
Heard David Spikey in Manchester early last year and he was brilliant, but as a result some of what he subsequently used on Countdown on his last visit was familiar. But that's inevitable. Much prefer him to the likes of Durden Smith and that Irish investigative bloke who was on a few weeks ago. Looking forward to the rest of the week and his next tour.
And well played to Andrew - seems like a really decent lad, plays the game in a good spirit; hope he makes the finals.
