Happy new year!
Happy new year, everyone!
I decided to make posting on this forum a New Year's resulution. I promise, I will post Countdown episode critiques in Series 64, when Mike Pickering returns for his third game and Countdown is followed by Noel Edmonds and our buddy Terry Wogan. I predict both Jeff Stelling's and Rachel Riley's mouths will drop open when they realize that it will be Series 64. But, Countdown is taped so what can you do?
It's nice to see those of you who are still here, and just as nice to meet everyone who have joined here since my absence. All other game shows in the world have an age limit of either 16 or 18, but Countdown is an exception. Even though it wouldn't last in America, the Brits are in a class all by themselves and without the big fans that Countdown has it wouldn't be the show it is today. Not only that, but I'm sure this forum wouldn't be here either. Charlie Reams is one of the most forgiving people I have ever known of, understanding my miscommunications. I know his culture shock is over, but I'm sure it was a pleasure for him to work for the company that brought the forum on the Internet map, Google. It has been through trial after tribulation and people have come and gone, but its mission has remained the same. It is a place for people to talk about a UK TV institution that deals with letters, numbers and a family that will grow until the cows come home -- Countdown.
Here's to a Series 65, and then some.

Re: Happy new year!
I really love you Big Jase. That was a lovely message to read on a miserable wet morning. Your sentiments are truly excellent.
I read it out to Heather and she was left with a smirk across her face.

Everyone, thank you very much but shouldn't this message make you smile and not smirk?

So, some of you had the courage to join Charlie's forum after joining Apterous!
