If it were to be that Dignance bloke I would have to stop watching he is an utter bore and not the least bit funny.

Although I voted, I do not know them and would be interested in a little biopic and description of their jobs - or have I missed something?

Yes. He has got better - and is,in fact, a refreshing change in the wry way he tells things.

Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes
To start with he looked a bit serious, but seems to be thawing out slightly. I think he a bit nervous as well as, incedibly, a sufferer from vertigo. Yesterday I felt that Carol was doing her best to be funny and cheerful to make him more at ease. As for contestants - I wish that dog woman would smi...

I must stop going on about this and get a life - whoops, I can't, there is only one and I've got it already.
Anyway, this link shows what people have given and all the comments they have made etc -

No God on the bus.
I have copied this bit from the Have I Got News thread which was mainly about Alexander taking over or not. jimbentley wrote: (the lovely) former contestant Ariane Sherine, who is organising an Atheist Bus Campaign in London (it involves buying advertising space on the sides of buses to display slog...

Re: British Summertime
This year, for the first time in a long time, I was pleased that the clocks had gone back. It meant that I had a good excuse to stop decorating an hour before I would have done, had I done it yesterday. :D I like it when the clocks go back and when it gets dark, nice and early in the evening :D Yes...

Re: Drink of water
I may be the guilty one with the 'smug' word and I would like to sincerely apologise even with a spilt infinitive. However, smugness IMO refers to when you drink and not the mere fact of drinking. Also, as Charlie would no doubt agree, drinking your water while the clock is still ticking can send a ...

I bet there is no other Huddersfield - go on, someone prove me wrong. Just found this - well bugger me! [Haddersfield (also known as Huddersfield) is a small town located in the St Mary parish of Jamaica. It is located at 18°24' N, 77°1' W, close to the small town of 'Retreat' and the mouth of the '...

Drink of water
Contestants have various silly 'mannerisms'. One is taking a drink of water when it makes it so obvious they have solved the numbers and are very pleased with themselves. Charlie at least pretends to be still working it out - we all know he is really finding a cleverer answer.

Yes, a contest with Susie and Carol in would be good fun for, say, Children in Need - I don't see why BBC should have monopoly.

Her 'jokes' got better after the first one - slightly. She is surely not as bad as that smiley, false, ex reporter/presenter. Even forgot his name.

Re: Welcome! - Post here first
Heard about this from Charlie's appearance on THE programme this week. Quite surprised how positive the presenters were about what is presumably an unofficial site.
Charlie is certainly doing well and I would love to see him head to head with little Kai - what a kid!
