Anyone else see the story about the council who want to use the heat from a crematorium to heat a neighbouring swimming pool. Apparently people were outraged. I don't get what the big deal is. Two birds one stone makes sense to me. People are overly sensitive with the dead if you ask me. Sorry there...

Why did the lifeguard not save the hippy? Because he was too far out man. A perfumer had a pet manatee called Hugh. He decided to name his latest brand of perfume after him. If we get a few more Under 16's we could make a tourny out of it. That would be pretty cool. I'd happily run it. I read "run it" as "ruin it". Hah. If the new presenter is a male, it makes sense to have a female co-host, doing Carols job. Plus also, I believe Jason would not lik...

On the non video game front, I went to an amateur comedy night and the M.C. announced some guy but he hadn't shown up so I shouted out that I'd go on and he let me. Its not quite the same. The weakest link prize is much smaller for a start, but on the episode of divided I saw, the eventual value of pot A, after all the bickering, was less than one third the original total jackpot. Just like to say that I wasn't saying the CSW shouldn't be mad, just that it is. When I play scrabble I would probably benefit more from its madness than the people I play against would. On another note, despite this being a scrabble thread, can I ask, what dictionary do people use for boggle?

Andrew I think there's a mistake on the table on the website. For round two you have me down as losing 2-1. I lost 2-0 to Dan Seasmith (102-77 & 81-62) and yet you have no results in his round two box. I know he missed a week so that might have something to do with it but you should double check...

How about a variant like boggle where you have a minute to find as many words form the selection of nine letters as you can. Points are awarded for length of word, say 1 point for 3,4 and 5 letter words, 2 for 6 and 7 letters, 3 for 8 and 5 for 9. If both contestants declare the same words they're c...
