Re: Dictionaries
So you could actually lose a series grand final, perhaps, after having a word disallowed, that is - in fact - included in the collection of dictionaries that the winner - ironically receives - for beating you?

Rachel Riley on a plate v. The potential end to my marriage and loss of my family/son.
(OK it wasn't Rach, but she was fit AND good with numbers!) But I chose my family.
Ironically I felt suicidal about passing on the above chance, but again, I chose my family!

Probably silly questions these (so I apologise): What is the EXACT name of the dictionary that Susie Dent uses; where can I buy it – and how much can I expect to pay for it? Also, are there more words in the 20-odd volume dictionary set that Series champ's win, than there are in Susie's little dicti...

I can confirm that the buzzers are activated once Nick presses the button to start the clock. This means you can buzz whenever the clock is going (so in any round), but not when the clock isnt going. Whilst waiting to play our final, Conor and I asked the floor manager (Jay) about this, and he star...

We'll never get a single hall of fame that we agree on. I think you could quite reasonably ask people to make their own individual lists and post them here. Basically what I said here . ANd then if you want, you could collate them and see which x have the most appearances. Ok, i'll start a new thre...

Absolutely right about the numbers - my brain just can't handle the simplest solutions in the studio environment.
