FOCAL Updates - July 2026

Hello all,
Following on from a group meeting last night, here is a brief update as to what's going on at FOCAL:
-We're working hard to upgrade our Safeguarding policies, including creating a separate channel for complaints handling.
-There will be an election for the position of Chair later this year. Whether I choose to stand again or not I haven't decided yet. If you would like to be considered for the role, please get in touch. Our next meeting will take place in September in which all interested persons can announce themselves.
-In the same vein, would you like to get involved with FOCAL by joining the Committee? Whether you have your eyes on a particular area or just want to get involved, simply drop me a message and we can have a chat about it.
