Was that the hardest teaser for a while? The other anagram is balefire, a large American bonfire.

I think that's beating the players. OVERSETS of course as well for 8 (and ESTOVERS and SIEVERTS).

When the 9 came up I was hoping Fiona would get it to make a game of it, but it wasn't to be.

DACOITS + X = DOXASTIC in round 11. Learned that one from being in the audience for Jen's first game, and one or two apterites pointed out that it nearly came up.

HEPTAGON in round 4 as well, nice anagram of PATHOGEN, thought Abdi might get that after DECAGONS yesterday. :D
