Another week begins in the Countdown studio, but unfortunately, it's also another week curtailed by means outside our control.

For those of you who thought we were gonna miss Dylan after his brilliant run came to its natural conclusion on Thursday, think again

Gemma Church made a fantastic début with her century score, and will hope to make an even bigger step towards octochampdom this week, although thanks to the Ebor Festival at York, we have only have shows today and tomorrow.

Nicki Chapman will be in DC for both shows this week.

1st Numbers Alt. (from my mum): ((25 + 3) x 4 x 4) + 7 + 5 = 460
3rd Numbers Alt.: (((6 x 4) + 2) x 25) + (8 x 2) = 666

Other alts for first numbers include a 4x115 method and a 500-40 one.
Was distracted by PIDDLE in R7 and didn't risk PLAIDED which is ok.
I also got SALUKI in the WALDOS round.
