Spoilers for Wednesday June 12th 2013 (Series 68 Prelim 59)
Glen Webb set a new series (and format) record yesterday with his 141 point performance. With two prelims to go, can he keep up this standard and keep on winning?
I know James is excited to get to recap this guy after yesterday, and he'll get his chance later today.

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday June 12th 2013 (Series 68 Prelim
This was the first game of the Tuesday afternoon. When we arrived we were greeted by news from the previous show
and, though we had expected two quarter finals when we got the tickets and not one, we knew we would get three good shows. Not too many forumites/apterites in the studio as the finalists were in the green room, so it came down to me to
lead the cheering - you should be able to hear me whooping at the end of the credits....

On the mention of JUNTA there was a long discussion about who was in charge of the Argentine Junta at
the time of the Falklands but of course that got cut out.

The most annoying thing about the day for Mark was discovering apterous for the first time there. I am sure he
would have done a lot better if he had been playing for a while online - hope we see him online over the summer.

Love all the background information. So much gets edited out we never know about!Tony Atkins wrote:This was the first game of the Tuesday afternoon. When we arrived we were greeted by news from the previous show

For those interested of the finals of Des Chiffres et Des Lettres: Tournois Club Des Cinq....
It appeared to be a best of three final. Yesterday Marvin Rodriguez beat Bruno Querrien 110-89. In today's second game Marvin solved the two Sprint Finale numbers/conundrum to come from behind to win 107-101. They surprisingly award 5 points each for both Sprint Finale solves.
Marvin correctly buzzed in with the solve: 256 from the selection 2 3 4 3 5 1 then correctly solved ELAIGOGNEE.
