I don't think Kai's talking about me in round 1, but he's got the rest of you losers nailed on.

4 disallowed words in a row is not the best start to the
game.
(and yes, I know it's spelt COLLIERS, but I had nothing else)

Looks okay to me mate, a good few maxes and everyone has some disallowed words occasionally.

Might seem odd to post a 12-max game in Scrag, but
this could easily have been a max game in more expert hands.

I got that with the first thing I tried. But I would almost certainly have missed SNOOZER and some others.

Tough but hardly brain-shattering. Most of the maxes were quality enough to have kept it out of scrag I'd have thought.

I think this just illustrates that maxes are a very weak metric for quality.

First game I play in 2 weeks, and I collapse in the third half. I'm pleased with the words I did see, I'm just disappointed I missed some sitters, though I was nowhere near on the niner.

ARRRRGGGH I had BIPODS down...but in my head thought of a tripod standing up, and figured a "BIPOD" would probably just fall over... and so there'd be no point in there being such a thing!

Yeah good point, what stops if falling over? Still this is definitely not SCRAG.

Spotted JINXED too late and mistyped it, and missed a really easy numbers game (saw the solution just after declaring one away). And I just couldn't solve the conundrum as I thought it was 'occupancy', not 'occupance'.

Yep, good numbers but the letter rounds were pretty poor from both of us.
Edit: Although, 92 is quite good for me.

You had some good spots, VAMPIRE and SHACKED I thought were quite nice. I'm not sure when the last game where I got zero letters maxes was, but I then managed the same feat in my next game.
It's almost enough to make one want to give up Countdown!

To get AURAS, but not AURORAS; to get NUISANCE, but not NUISANCES; to spot WHOOPSIE and WHOOPERS, yet risk neither. This is scrag.

A pretty bad game anyway (how do I go from 13 maxes yesterday to 3 today?), but round 13, in particular, makes my blood boil.

Second consecutive century may not seem like scrag, but my seemingly continued willingness to offer spurious nines based around ration is highly scragular. Totally not candles!

Yessss.
That's what I get for typing so quickly I mix up the letters. It happens sometimes at work too; I'll be typing a sequence of shortcuts and they'll maff up, but we've got new keyboards now which are impossible to type quickly on. Thankfully I don't have to use them here! Srsly though, I'm really pleased with how much I'm improving that that game I posted earlier is scrag, a little while ago it'd have been brag.

Because I find when I play speed round (normal or goat), it makes normal 30 second games seem easier.

I was going to suggest that 'singing' was a euphemism, but then I checked the game and you've made all the jokes yourself - she gave you an ERECTION and then everything went downhill.

Haha v funny :p
To be fair to Emma I'd never heard of BIRLINN, BIPHASIC or CENTRIOLE (surprising the latter as its very high freq letters) so I wouldn't have gotten them.
