Channel 4 Racingwatch

Countdown will be affected more by Channel 4 Racing in it's new timeslot, but when the racing is off it gives potential for Countdown Specials.

Racing from Cheltenham is off on 1st January although not sure if it will be replaced by Countdown or a festive film at this stage.

I was keeping up with that fact too, but they did say that only half an hour would be cut if that did happen, which obviously isn't enough time for an episode of Countdown, and it looks like they've put in an episode of The Simpsons at 3:30pm instead. :(
