Tuesday's come around again, and in a week's time the prelims will all be over.

Sohail Virdi is making a pretty decent charge to try and bag himself that last spot in the finals, but can get past the hat-trick mark today :?:

Jack will be around with the recap later. ;) :) :D

Round 1: found in OED3 DIBORANE
Round 2: tried POSTRACE* not listed in OED3 (fine Scrabble)
Round 3: found EPIDOTE ok (wife Diane who's @ home with me on week's holiday tried HOGTIED* - not listed in OED3 - fine Scrabble)

Do hope the Scrabble players don't get caught out in the anniversary programmes?!
Caught Jessica teaching Sandie Simonis a few OED/non OED words at the Scrabble Drive last Sunday.

Sohail falls into the trap in round 6: RUINERS* fine in Scrabble.
Round 7: Ken slips up with FAMINED* not even its valid anagram INFAMED* is valid in OED3

Good words coming up today!! Actually beat Sohail to the conundrum!

Great finish! unlucky Ken!!

Did 1 better than Rachel in the 2nd numbers game (which is as good as it gets): ((75 + 25 - 1) x 10) - 50 - 1 = 939

Always sorry to see an Apterite losing, but an exciting end like my 3rd game.

Alt in R8 of TOLUENE. I also tripped on the hyphenated hog-tied and another one not to go for in R6 was unvaries.

Finally, someone goes for ORIENTALS/TENSORIAL!

Got to 939 (Rachel's way) in R10.
