Enjoy the show. Sponsored by Wellman, complete with stupid new advert.

The gang talk about Christmas lists and very expensive things.

Chris finally gets off the mark here, while Gyles talks about entertaining troops, famous Adamses before making a joke about the 18th letter of the alphabet being after T. :oops:

Teatime teaser: TAKEWORM -> TEAMWORK

DC: TRIPLANE (8)
OT: ATROPINE (8) EPILATOR (8) INTERLAP (8) ORIENTAL (8) PETIOLAR (8) TRAPLINE (8)

C2: 106. 100+6 (10)
Score: 67–35 (max 77)

That damn CECIL throws out a target which the contestants had less chance of failing than getting J,K,Q,X,Y and Z in the same letters round and then having a round spell out KIBBUTZIM the very next day. Or something. David still feels the need to cover up his answer. :lol:

Teatime teaser: DRIPALOT -> TRIPODAL

DAVID HAS WON!

Despite pluralising an unpluralisable word, David gets to 4 wins here.

Round 14: 75, 8, 2, 5, 3, 1. Target: 952.

C1: 952. (75-2)*(8+5)+3 (10)
C2: -
Score: 90–55 (max 109)

An easy-ish numbers round which David gets and Chris doesn’t. David now has ninety, can he get a century?

Round 15: N I C E G I V E R

C1 buzzes on 1 second to say RECEIVING which is correct.
Final Score: 100–55 (max 119)
Indeed he can. Nick actually says “Yes, David, what are you up to?” after he buzzes, giving him extra time to work it out but David had a performance which was stronger than 19 off the max may suggest. Makes you think, having a legal name change to something with a ridiculous amount of syllables could improve your countdown skills in this way.

Join somebody, presumably Graeme, on Monday to see DB either win his fifth game or fail. See you then.

Score: 100-55
Raw: 100-82
Maxes: 11-6 8-) (Copyright JR)
