People, it's been an interesting run for Nick Hewer so far, but I think you all need to brace yourselves. This man, who's already under immense pressure as is, has to deal with his biggest test so far. A test that is so arduous, that it can break a man, even a man who's had as much boardroom experience as he has. I can only imagine his anguish at the possibility, and I know that Rachel, Susie, and even John Suchet are scared for him.
Nick Hewer....has to do a show....without Jack Worsley.
How can Nick bear without his significantly younger sidekick, the man he can count on to provide words he's never heard of, to provide snarky commentary on when he gets one letter less than he's expected, to have a constant person to get out his "well done" to. Hell, he may even start ordering his steak MEDIUM now. MEDIUM! Nick...I feel for you. I feel for how shocking this must be. But you will move on, as there are two other contestants, perhaps one of them can be your new sidekick. If they're as good as Jack you can throw praise on them too, if they're not you can make your snide remarks without offering words that you think are better than the contestants'. You've got to hold on Nick. I have faith.
If Nick can get through this difficult period in his hosting career today, then join James for the recap later.
