Last week I went to the studio recording of one of several celebrity specials of The Chase. Carol was one of the four contestants.

The studio did not know when the programme will air because they may not be transmitted in the order in which they were recorded but the first of the celebrity specials is due to air on 29 October.

Awesome, who else was doing it?

In the show I saw, the other three were actor John Thompson, an actress called Sue from Coronation Street (don't know her surname) and Jonathan Ross's brother Paul. As to the other shows, I don't know who the contestants were but there are about six shows in total.

Good idea really, well timed too considering the show seems to be getting more popular. Was it still recorded at the studios on the south bank? Usually there's no audience for the chase (makes Bradley's "laughing fit" the other day all the more embarrassing considering all the audience stuff is canned!), how many of you were there?

Still filmed at the same ITV building but moved to Studio 1 for the live recordings. I saw an ad the previous week in the free Metro newspaper - I don't know if it was advertised elsewhere - and there was a full capacity audience of over 400. I heard that the other recordings were full houses too.

Having seen the adverts during today's Chase, it looks like that this series will end on Friday, so there'll just be the 6 celebrity specials on the screen in the near future.

I hope the questions are easy for her
