Spoilers For Monday October 3rd 2011
Into the 10th month we go, and based on information from my internal sources, this series (and with it presumably, Jeff's career as host of the show) will end on December 16th, so there are 48 prelims to go.
That means that Mark has qualified and Graeme is more or less there, but who else will join them
Our current champ, Jayne Wisniewski, has got a very good chance of making it too, but to be really certain, she'll probably have to win today and tomorrow, thus securing her octochamp status. After scraping through the last 3 days, will this new week return her refreshed and revitalised for today's onslaught
Making her DC debut this week, don't get Wincey or you'll be sent off to Kendall If you don't understand that clue, I'll give you 45 minutes to work it out, or maybe even a helicopter ride might help you solve this riddle.
Give up Well unless you were watching Channel 4 in its infancy or hooked onto Challenge TV when it first started, you won't know that I'm referring to Treasure Hunt, because this week's DC guest is the Skyrunner herself, Anneka Rice.
Join Ryan later for take-off. No, sorry, for the recap.

Jayne is very modest. I heard this first-hand. Seriously though, well played so far and I hope you got to octochampdom.

Yes but modesty is my only fault. Seriously though, thank you!

Nope, I qualified the week before last when Jayne won her first game. After then there were 53 more prelims left but you'd need 55 (Jayne and six others becoming octochamps) for me to be pushed down to ninth.James Robinson wrote:Into the 10th month we go, and based on information from my internal sources, this series (and with it presumably, Jeff's career as host of the show) will end on December 16th, so there are 48 prelims to go.

Well played again Jayne, hope you make it eight tomorrow.

Somewhat bizarrely, the ODE only allows AUBRETIA and AUBRIETIA. Apparently it's not happy that AUBRIETA is the name of the genus, rather than one of the names now commonly given to the plant. Wikipedia (the fount of all knowledge) seems to disagree.John Douglas wrote:R1 AUBRIETA for 8

Was Rachel's 'Doing a Cynth' a joke? I suppose it was.
