A bit of controversy on the conundrum as we couldn't decide who'd buzzed first! But still Charlie buzzed first and took home the win, although David qualified for the next round with a superior points total, noting that all three players (with Dinos) had won one game.
If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

Hell of a win Charlie, well done. And well done to David on a hell of a numbers solution! :o

Thanks :) Rounds 3 and 11 were annoying, but otherwise I was happy.

I was a bit disappointed with this performance - too many words missed that I should really be getting (and a numbers rd ffs!) but Charlie was in the same boat: we tend to have scrappy games anyway. The better player won and recently Charlie seems to be handing my ass to me every chance he gets: he is my new nemesis, well alongside Corbus Maximus. Although, my mediocre performance means that, provisionally, I am lined up to play against Julian :o .

I should point out that the controversy over the conundrum only really came from Martin :) the rest of us in the room were adamant that Charlie had buzzed first - I was a microsecond or two behind him. It made for a very enjoyable game in terms of how tight it was and I will be backing Charlie to do the business in the plate (not because he beat me - I lose most of my games!) but because I think he will miss far fewer words in his next encounters.

Looks like I missed a decent game here. Nice numbers solution Doddy, and well done to Charlie on his win. I'm already bricking it that we should meet again in the Plate :o

Interesting stuff - since Dinos crushed Charlie and O'Donnell then crushed Dinos, you'd expect O'Donnell to absolutely larrup Charlie... but it looks like the theme of this tournament might be "players making a massive improvement in their second game", we've seen it with Charlie, Rich Priest, Ben Pugh and, er, me...

I hope I don't have to play you David :(
