Midweek is here, and we're entering another "Will she, won't she?" phase.

The "she" in question being Jayne Wisniewski (I'm sure I'll spell it wrong one day ), who has been impressing TV audiences and Apterites alike with her 3 brilliant wins so far. Can she make it to half-octochampdom today

If there's only one negative to Jayne's run so far, it would be its timing, since Jayne started on a Friday, I'll only get a maximum of 2 recaps of her shows.

P.S. If you're reading this Ryan, you might want to Channel 4+1 on in 10 minutes for your favourite film, unless you started watching it on Channel 4 when it started 50 minutes ago.

Rather a disappointing show I thought, the letter selections I mean. Rachel went a bit around the houses on the last numbers game, I found two easier ways within the 30.

I agree with Tony, not a classic today by any means as the letters selections were poor, although I somehow managed to find three eights.

3rd numbers alt: 9x3+10+75+50=162, surprised Rachel didn't see an easier way.

Two very good contestants today, but both faded a bit as the game went on. Well done Jayne. When Susie said you'd been watching your Countdown, she should have said you'd been playing your Apterous.

Not the best as said, but unlike last week, there were some stinky letters today. Glad Jayne scraped through though, thought she'd blown it when she messed up TINIER.
