Manchester United shut out the Seattle Sounders last night at CenturyLink Field, their own soil.

The number of goals they scored was "the lucky number." Of course Rachel Riley can count up to that number, and she would be mighty happy to do that.

I guess you win some, you lose some.

Oh come on, they only lost by a touchdown. No big deal.

A touchdown plus one point. That's seven goals.

Seven is also eight minus one, and eight is the number of games you need to win to become an octochamp. Spooky.

Well yea, the extra point too. You know, one of the very few things in American football where someone actually uses their feet.

A field goal is not a term used in soccer.

Well, to be fair, no matter how badly the most important players play, a loss is usually blamed on a kicker somehow, so I mean it's "football" in that extent

But yea, aside from possession changes, extra points, and (as Jason mentioned), field goals, there's not much kickers do in American football.

Yeah, and why is it called rugby when it's hardly ever played in Rugby? All words should be constantly updated to reflect their current context, that'll prevent any future confusion. A sea horse isn't a horse at all LOL!
