What did you not like about Gareth?
Genuinely have no idea, only saw one of his games and he seemed like your bog standard contestant.

In his first couple of games, he definitely seemed more than arrogant compared to your average Countdowner.Douglas Wilson wrote:What did you not like about Gareth?

As was discussed on Friday, it might just be how we interpret people's emotions.
I just didn't like his attitude in general.

I liked Gareth, but... seven eh? Using the 'S' twice? (Was there one?) Certainly had a whiff of fudge about it...

Yeah... but he didn't really declare it like he had anything like that written down. Why be so coy and hesitant about declaring SALUTES? Stank to me.Graeme Cole wrote:SALUTES?Jon Corby wrote:I liked Gareth, but... seven eh? Using the 'S' twice? (Was there one?) Certainly had a whiff of fudge about it...

I thought that he misread the Z as a second S. I've done it myself a few times.

I think you're all being generous I think he was searching for a seven having heard his opponent declare one.

The evidence is inconclusive but I'd say it looks less fudgy than more fudgy.Jon Corby wrote:Thanks Judge Ginger.Ryan Taylor wrote:I'm going to watch this and make a verdict.Jon Corby wrote:I think you're all being generous I think he was searching for a seven having heard his opponent declare one.

You were the fudgemaster yourself actually, so I reject your conclusion. Although actually that might make you better qualified to spot fudging in others, rather than prone to defend the practice of fudging, I'm not entirely sure. I await your verdict on this.Ryan Taylor wrote:The evidence is inconclusive but I'd say it looks less fudgy than more fudgy.

I did indeed use my experience of fudging to conclude that the evidence is inconclusive. Just check out today's Daily Duel result. The FudgeMaster back to his best.Jon Corby wrote:You were the fudgemaster yourself actually, so I reject your conclusion. Edit: Realised you would have to have done the duel today to have seen them.
Re: Spoilers For Tuesday July 5th 2011
Having played, and lost to Gareth, I thought he was more relaxed than arrogant. I reckon he had the right attitude, just taking it in his stride, and not worry about how he did.
