Yeah, he said it, but then DC said "excellent" - all I was pointing out is that the word was spelled out in letters 3-8 of the selection.
Got the numbers but after time:
((75 + 10) * 8) - (100/50)

Can't remember which round but I got 'RAMEKINS' which the contestants and DC seemed to miss...

I got that one in the time, but messed up the second one. Was anyone else shocked by the challenger's failure to get the final numbers? Yeah yeah I know studio pressure etc. but this was still an impressive miss!

Yeah I was a bit surprised by the numbers failure, you couldn't have asked for a much easier numbers game than that.

I agree. It seemed very strange that she declared 708. I can only think that she'd used the 3 in making 14, but even then she'd have had the 7 left over in order to get a little closer with 707.
In an earlier round, I'm quite convinced that she said SEMINAL, and when Susie queried that, she quickly changed it to SEMINAR. On listening again, my view seemed to be confirmed.
