Make no bones about it, reports of my demise were premature and grossly exaggerated, but nonetheless, my aficionados may remain disappointed, because my interest has bombed; and I won't be returning. The truth is, Countdown is a pretty crap gameshow. Still, worry ye not yet, for the end is not by-and-by; I will return for the Contest of Champions. See you then.
