"My husband Daniel had to rush him out of the room."

Yes, let's brush over this and pretend like it never happened and let it be forgotten, other than this posed photo which we managed to take amid all the rushing, and the newspaper article preserving it for years to come.

I don't see the big fuss anyway, it's a tame word. I knew "fuck" and "cunt" by this age.

Well these particular people clearly weren't "horrified" by it since they approached the Sun, and were happy for their son to be featured with the offending conundrum etc etc.

That said, it is an appalling oversight by the game manufacturers.

Yeah, disgusting. To think he might go on the show one day and offer a phony he picked up playing this game is outrageous.

Fortunately shithead is a new addition to the dictionary in ODE3 so shitheads is now valid. Panic over.
Shitstorm is another new one to look out for.

I love how the mum is outraged and yet sells the story to the Sun, of all papers.

More to the point has anybody questioned the bruise on the child's forehead? I'd be asking questions...surely it couldn't be that he just fell over? Would make for a great follow up story for the Sun.

Oh, and I love it how the game manufacturer is called Koch.

Edit: I wonder if it's not a bruise and is actually some shit smeared into his head to make the article more apt?

On the plus side - Wii game? Kewl. Oh wait, it's £20 and the reviews say the dictionary's for shitheads. Apterous it is then.

Most computerised versions of the game (apart from those compiled with tender love and care(apterous)) seem to allow any random 9 letter word, be it a plural, a swear word (actually apterous does allow a few) and most shockingly I have had a few where the answers had anagrams. I had CONIESRAT once and sticking with the no plurals rule I went for NARCOTISE, only to be told that the answer was ACTIONERS. I will have a look for the screenshot.

That's lousy too as you could also have had CREATIONS and REACTIONS - surely the official sanctioned game should at least have worked out the conundrums have no anagrams?
Apparently not.
