TRITIUM?
Can someone post a link to a download of CountMax? Probably being thick but have looked around on Charlie's site and can't find it.
Also, I missed ARBITER. Happy Julian?

There's a link from
http://www.thecountdowncorral.com/cd/recapwriter.asp - not particularly obvious I admit, especially as it's really not necessary for recapping any more.
Fell Corner: I also missed ARBITER.

Wow - without meaning to sound harsh but did anyone else think today's standard was very poor, particularly on the numbers?
Oh, and I also missed ARBITER, but did get the following equallers:
Round 7: FEDORAS
Round 8: PAEON
Round 11: OUTRAGES/APTEROUS
Round 13: IMPANELS/MANIPLES/PLEONASM

Yes, it was dismal. Still, at least we got a crucial conundrum out of it.

I didn't spot these, instead I would've risked UPSTAGER in that round, but I don't think its in.
Like everyone else, I didn't see ARBITER and actually never even saw AMOUNTED nor SEPARATOR too

. To top it all off, I actually mispelt LOVELIER in round 6, thinking it only had 7 letters

I think it was on for lowest combined score ever until Bev got the last-second conundrum. I liked her, she seems constantly surprised by everything. Doubt she'll win tomorrow though.

Totally agree, it has to be said that the standard has not been high just lately. I liked Bev too Jim but like you I'd be very surprised if she wins many more.

Hey - I got ARBITER!!!! Take that, Paul, Charlie, Kirk and Joseph
Quite agree about the standard today. Even made me look good.

Probably the first time I managed to beat both contestants with a combined difference of over 100.
Pleased to get just one away on the first numbers game, until Carol got it spot on.

I agree Bev was the best contestant in ages, it's just a shame she isn't very good at the game. I managed to get arbiter but i had noteless and not toneless so i suppose it isn't there, despite it being allowed in scrabble. The way this series is going, the footballer looks set to be the champ!

not the best series so far, i do think last series was much stronger, although i am biased
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
but in the first 24 games of last series there was 12 centuries (50%) and 2 octochamps. this series just 3 out of 18 (16%) no octochamps, a long way to go but this series isnt looking like its going to be a classic, hope im wrong though

But I've got an inside scoop and apparently there are a couple of good contestants on their way to our screens soon. Watch this space...

Every series has its wank bits though. You don't have to look very hard find a sequence of 40 games with only 4 centuries and no octochamps in the last series, which incidentally included your run on the show

That's no way to describe Matt Coates.
