She's not exactly a shrinking violet tho, is she?

I still think Sky are prize hypocrites. On Sky Sports News there's always the pairing of a bloke and some young blonde girl. If they had a variety of female presenters I'd be less suspicious but this just seems to blatant placement of eye-candy for objectification purposes.

This is from "Can't be arsed" by Richard Wilson and it's probably fair:
Rather than participate in the myth of the beautiful game by travelling all the way to Buenos Aires, you could turn on your television set and celebrate the undeniably wondrous thing in modern football - the beautiful mind of Sky Sport's anchorman, Jeff Stelling. I said that Sky have done a lot of damage to British football by pouring their TV millions into the pockets of a few clubs, and so they have. But Jeff embodies what is truly good about the game, and anyone who appreciates the wonder of Jeff can truly understand the grip that football has on people, particularly men. It's all to do with numbers. Jeff's programme on a Saturday afternoon is chock-full of numbers - every inch of the screen is jam-packed with figures and statistics, but there are even more in Jeff's head. As dozens of football results come flooding in, Jeff Stelling can, in the blink of an eye, bring to our attention that Forfar Athletic's left back has scored on his wedding anniversary for the past three seasons running. Facts like this can mesmerise the angriest of football hooligans and if I were in charge of world football (it's a long shot but I'm working on it) I'd have Jeff Stelling piped on to the big screens at every football match on the planet.

According to this Jeff will take over the Champions League games in midweek so he can keep presenting Soccer Saturday and Countdown.
